Paul Markham
Paul joined Liberty in May 2005 and is responsible for risk profiling for all operational and construction power business. Previously Paul worked for Siemens for 8 years as UK service manager and as part of a Siemens O&M team on a CCGT plant in Pakistan. In this time he accomplished several first for Siemens in the UK: roll out of turbine vane carrier in 11 days on a V94.2, first turnkey major outage contract negotiation and delivery and part of a global business review team in 1999.
He started his career as an apprentice at British Steel in 1982, obtained a degree in general engineering and then joined the Royal Navy, where he was a combined operator/maintainer of a steam powered vessel and completed research work on a Rolls Royce Spey gas turbine.
Paul has gathered market loss data for over the last 10 years reviewing well over 1,000 losses over that period.
Paul is an RFU Coach Educator in his spare time, sails, skis and paraglides as much as he can.
