Francis Barber

Francis has extensive experience on major infrastructure and construction projects around the world, as well as property and BI losses for mining, petrochemical, power generation and other industries. Francis is also a leading expert in the analysis of delay claims where projects are insured against delay in start-up.

He has lectured extensively on this topic and also co-authored the Advanced Study Group textbook on delay insurance for the CII. He has recently co-authored the supplement to the CII Advanced Study Group textbook on Construction Insurance. He contributed to the 9th Edition of ‘Riley on Business Interruption’ and the latest version of the construction law textbook ‘Delay and Disruption in Construction Contracts’
